The Century City Chamber of Commerce ensures that the voice of members is heard on legislative issues and ballot initiatives.
Our Legislative Consultant, Green Public Affairs & Campaigns, reports on local, state and federal legislation that is of importance to the Century City business community at monthly Board meetings and works with the Chamber’s Board of Directors to effectively advocate on behalf of our membership. Our Board reviews policy issues and may choose to take a position to support the growth of business or oppose legislation that is not business-friendly and may impact the local economy. The Century City Chamber does not engage in lobbying activities.
Since the Century City Chamber is a member of BizFed, the U.S. Chamber and the California Chamber, our members also benefit from information and resources from their policy teams. We follow the CalChamber's "Job Killer" bills that would have a negative effect on California's economy if they would become law.
